Why LeBron James Should Play Point Guard For The Heat

Posted on 30. Nov, 2010 by in David Vertsberger, Halfcourt Heave, Miami Heat

People said the heat could have a 72-10 season. People said they are going to have automatic success. Plenty of people were very, very wrong. To say the Heat have played worse than expected would be an understatement. LeBron, Wade and Bosh are not having fun. People have been debating for the past week about   … More   >

These two rookies make players that have been in the NBA for years look like total scrubs.   … More   >

No More LeBron, What Next?

The Cavaliers are now left with a   … More   >

It’s ‘T’ Time!

Posted on 01. Nov, 2010 by in David Vertsberger, Halfcourt Heave

As if the NBA players aren’t upset enough. They have a possible lockout to worry about, but David Stern and friends decide to anger players even more. Well, obviously that wasn’t Stern’s true reason for establishing the new “respect for the game” rules, but whether Stern wanted to or not, he got NBA players a   … More   >

The Knicks’ Preseason Recap: The Knicks are Back

Posted on 25. Oct, 2010 by in David Vertsberger, Halfcourt Heave, New York Knicks

The New York Knicks however, have taken a different approach to this preseason.

After what could be the most important summer in the Knicks’ rich history, Mike D’Antoni and Donnie Walsh had a few games to make their brand new team come together and get ready to make a playoff push. After so many new acquisitions, and very few players returning from last season, team chemistry was going to play a huge role in how good this brand new Knicks team could be.
