The East is trembling. Detroit and Boston especially.
The conference has just stepped into the boxing ring with both feet tied together and a big target on its nose, wincing at the opponent staring at them from the other side of the ring.
They’d thought he was down.
They’d thought he was done.
But Dwyane Wade is back.
Hear that? That’s the sound of 14 teams collectively saying ‘Shit!’ |

The Syracuse Orange finished 19-12 in the 2007-08 season, which was actually an unexpected achievement, considering it was the team's first year without its much-beloved, graduated guard Gerry McNamara.
A flashy playmaker named Jonny Flynn strolled into town with his work cut out for him. |

If I were the commissioner, there’s several things I would do.
Get rid of the dress code, and emphasising the game itself rather than the teams and players that are in it etc.
But if I honestly had utter control over the league, and I could make the season turn out how I want, then there are several definite things I would want to see before this time next year. |

Team USA has a lot to be confident about going into the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing. However, they shouldn’t get too complacent, as there are plenty of top-caliber squads itching to bring them down a peg or two…again.
The USA Men’s Basketball team has not won an Olympics Gold Medal since 2000, when Kevin Garnett, Gary Payton, among others donned the red, white and blue uniforms. USA finished in 2004 with a disappointing Bronze Medal after ten of twelve of its team members backed out just weeks before competition. As a result, younger players who weren’t as ready stepped in and were unfairly criticized for their shortcomings. |

Well now that the Eastern Conference is finished, we move on to the more skilled conference, the wild West. The injury depleted Lakers took the West last year as they made it all the way to the Finals until they lost to the Celtics. Here is a list of who I think will be the three best teams in the West next season. |
