![]() Hamilton and Billups were not the only scoring threats the Pistons had on Game 2. Antonio McDyess also had an impressive outing with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. He was helping Rasheed Wallace grab the missed shots and intimidate opponents. Wallace had 10 rebounds for the Pistons while scoring 13 points, 6 of them from the 3-point area. Tayshaun Prince was also playing like there is no tomorrow as he also pulled down 8 rebounds while scoring 14 points. The Pistons had a boost off the bench from rookie Rodney Stuckey who had 13 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics also showed their aggressiveness but lacked enough support from their second unit. The Big Three composed of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen were doing the damage for their ball club. Pierce led the team with 26 points on 9 out of 16 shooting. He also had 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Allen bounced back from earlier playoff slumps by putting up 25 points for the game. Garnett was monstrous down the block as he had 13 rebounds to go along with 24 points. However, their passion was unmatched by their bench who only had a combined total of 8 points. Now that the series is tied, both the Pistons and the Celtics are driven to finish their opponents as quickly as possible. They both know that each team is capable of beating the other. Boston and Detroit have good offensive players as well as defensive stoppers. They are headed by two of the NBA’s best coaches to date. The road to the Finals is only three wins away and they both know that they can definitely reach it. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments
