![]() Getting either Beasley or Rose will be beneficial for the Bulls. If Chicago chooses Beasley, they will be getting a dominant inside presence, similar to their selection of Elton Brand in the 1999 Draft. Getting Rose would also be good for Chicago since he would provide the leadership on the court. This would allow the Bulls to shift between him and Kirk Hinrich for the one spot. Other Bulls players would also benefit from getting either Rose or Beasley. They will have other legitimate scoring threats and free up space outside the three-point area. There are other exciting college players that would also be suiting up for NBA teams in the 2008 to 2009 season. Jerryd Bayless of Arizona is touted as a great ball handler and can be a great help to a team who lacks solidarity at the point guard slot. There is also Kevin Love from UCLA. He plays the power forward and center position and would prove to be a problem for defenders in the same position. USC’s O.J. Mayo is also primed to be picked at the Top 10 slots. According to many sports analysts, Mayo has the build and skills to go toe-to-toe against the best guards the NBA has to offer. One month is all that is left before the world finally knows which player goes to which team. The question that lingers on the minds of basketball fanatics is whether Chicago selects Rose or Beasley. There is also the option of trading the first pick for a tried and tested NBA superstar. There are various possibilities, especially since the Bulls are still in the rebuilding stage. The team’s use of the first pick is essential if they are planning on becoming contenders for the NBA Championship for years to come. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments
