![]() Lebron James’ 45 point performance was also highlighted with 5 rebounds and 6 assists. He managed to put in 14 shots, 3 of them from the three-point area. He was also efficient from the free throw line, missing only 5 shots out of a total of 19. However, he lacked the offensive support from his teammates. Only Delonte West was able to crack the double-digit margin by scoring 15 points. However, he also had 6 turnovers which were unnecessary in a big game such as this. The Cavaliers’ outside threat, Wally Szczerbiak, was held scorless for the whole game and only lasted for about 15 minutes on the floor. The Celtics were also having offensive problems similar to the Cavaliers. The other members of the Big Three were held to just 17 points, with Garnett having 13 and Allen scoring just 4. Yet, they had a slight boost from veteran center P.J. Brown who had 10 points to go along with 6 rebounds. The Celtics young point guard, Rajon Rondo, did not feel any jitters during this crucial game as he managed to dish out 8 assists while committing only 2 turnovers. Kevin Garnett was the high rebound man for the Celtics with 13. The stage is now set for a Detroit vs. Boston series. The winner will advance to the NBA Finals where the chance for a championship beckons. Both teams are good offensively and defensively. Each boasts of superstars that can take over the game at key situations. This will be a fun series to watch as the two teams pour out their all to win. Even Lebron James will be pleased to see Boston and Detroit slug it out – he knows it is going to be another memorable series. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments
