Derek Fisher is almost perfect in the field, shooting jumpers after jumpers over Derron Williams. Carlos Boozer tried his best to keep Lamar Odom at bay, but his defense proved to be futile. The best man that was able to guard Kobe on Game 2 must have been Matt Harping. But even he can't wipe the bliss on Kobe's face, which seems to be plastered on him even before the game even started. He was presented his MVP award again, this time before his hometown crowd. As a result, of all the five players that were thrown at Kobe, and none of them had seemed to make much damage on his impeccable shooting and passing prowess. During the third quarter, Derron Williams tried to put the Jazz back on the race with the lead down to four. But that just made Kobe play a little harder, as he did some more impressive passes and shots. Kobe was also the game's top scorer, no less. He's got 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Derron Williams did it for his team but with losing efforts with 25 points, 3 boards, and 10 assists. The rest of the Utah's key players scored double digits. But that wasn't enough to orchestrate a win for them. Lamar Odom had a big game for the Lakers, with 19 points and 16 rebounds. It was a high-scoring game as expected, almost a game of shoot-outs just like in Game 1. Utah Jazz ended with 110 points and the Lakers won by 10 at 120 points. From the looks of it, the Western Conference crown will go to the Lakers, as they are currently two games ahead of the Jazz. The Jazz should find a way to handle Kobe and the rest of his crew on Game 3, if they want to extend this series to at least 6 games. The Lakers are the top seeded this season and if the Jazz wants to beat them, they are going to need a big heart and absolution precision on the court. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments
